Privacy and Cookie Policy
Information we collect and why
When you contact us or request a meeting, we process the information you provide, such as your name, business email address, company, telephone number and message. We use it to respond, arrange meetings and discuss our services.
We rely on our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and maintaining business relationships under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Where you personally request steps towards entering into a contract with us, we rely on Article 6(1)(b).
Providing information is voluntary, but we need sufficient details to respond or arrange your meeting. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
When you visit our website, we may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested pages, access times and error logs. We use this information to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website, based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable and secure service.
Where optional analytics or advertising features are enabled, we process the associated personal data only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a). These features may measure website activity and advertising conversions or support relevant advertising. Details of enabled providers and purposes are available in Cookie Settings.
If we offer a newsletter and you subscribe, we use your email address to send the updates you requested, based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in our emails or by contacting us.
Who receives your information
We share information only where needed with authorized staff and providers supporting our website and business operations. These may include hosting, IT, email, meeting booking and customer relationship management providers. Optional analytics, advertising and newsletter providers receive information only where the relevant service is enabled and the required consent has been obtained.
Providers processing data on our behalf must follow appropriate contractual requirements. Where a provider acts as a separate controller, its own privacy notice also applies.
We may disclose necessary information to professional advisers or public authorities where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we use an applicable legal transfer mechanism, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, with additional safeguards where required.
You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data or to request a copy.
How long we keep information
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for its purpose.
Enquiry and meeting records are kept while we handle your request and any resulting business relationship. We may retain relevant records longer where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Technical logs are kept for the period necessary to investigate faults and protect the website. Cookie durations and applicable analytics or advertising retention details are available in Cookie Settings.
Newsletter information is used until you unsubscribe or the service ends. We may retain limited consent records and information needed to respect your decision not to receive further marketing.
Cookies and your choices
We use cookies and similar technologies to support website functions and, where you agree, optional features.
- Strictly Necessary — always active: support essential functions, security and remembering your cookie choices.
- Analytics — off by default: help us understand website use and improve its content and performance.
- Marketing — off by default: help measure advertising results and support advertising purposes described in Cookie Settings.
- Functional — off by default: enable optional features, such as third-party meeting booking tools.
Optional categories activate only after you consent. You can choose Accept all, Reject non-essential or Manage preferences. Continuing to browse does not constitute consent.
You can revise or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link on our website. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from contacting us. You can arrange a meeting by emailing office@cadvel.com.
Cookie Settings identifies the technologies actually used, their providers, purposes and durations. Browser settings also allow you to remove or block cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may affect website functionality.
Consent to storing or accessing information on your device is separate from the GDPR legal basis for processing personal data. An exemption from cookie consent does not remove our GDPR obligations.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You can object to direct marketing, including related profiling, at any time.
Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email office@cadvel.com. We normally respond within one month. If a lawful extension is needed, we will explain why.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) at uodo.gov.pl, or with the competent supervisory authority in your country of habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.
Security and updates
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration and misuse.
We may update this policy when our website, services, data processing activities or legal obligations change. Where a new activity requires consent, we will ask for it before that activity begins. The latest version of this policy is identified by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
